Baseball Complete Cleaning Kit (7 pieces)

I’m not a stranger to Rhino Glove Care products; I previously ordered their Baseball Glove Conditioner and was impressed by the life it has brought back to my glove. This kit, the Complete Cleaning Kit, has everything you need to keep your glove in excellent playing condition, and includes the first two steps in Rhino’s recommended three-step glove maintenance program.The use of the Rhino Baseball Glove Maintenance Kit is a two-step process beginning with the Scrub paste. Start by using one of the supplied dauber brushes to lather up the scrub and gently scrub it into the leather. Wipe off the excess and allow the glove to dry. Next, use one of the microfiber clothes to massage a thin, even coat of the Glove Oil into the leather and allow it to dry for 24 hours.Rhino recommends following up the Glove Oil treatment with a third step, the use of their Glove Conditioner, that is sold separately, and which I have done. At the risk of sounding like a marketing cliché, applying the Conditioner as a final step does provide “long lasting protection.” In fact, with just routine maintenance with the cleaning kit afterwards, over the course of a season.By following the directions, the treatment did have a restorative effect on the leather leaving it with a rich natural leather smell and a soft, pliable surface. Like any liquid applied to leather, it will darken, giving the glove a healthy, sumptuous look.The Rhino Glove Cleaning Kit, in my experience, is superb at cleaning and restoring leather, and can no doubt be used on a variety of leather articles; I use it for cleaning my leather shoes, for example. As far as cleaning my baseball gloves, it’s the best cleaner/restorative conditioning treatment I’ve come across.Rhino is a small business, and I’m all for supporting those, another incentive for choosing their products as far as I’m concerned. It’s an excellent product, and although I can only guess based on my first use, I would think, depending on each individual user’s application, there are somewhere between 20 and 30 applications in the kit, making it a good value. Moreover, the ingredients are all natural. The Glove Oil is Castor Oil and Vitamin E and the Glove Scrub is made of Beeswax, Castor Oil, and Castile Soap. All good stuff, causing no harm to the environment or you.

The glove scrub worked really well on a glove I got from my father. The scrub was easy to use following the instructions. I tried the glove cleaner on the glove but it gets a bit more difficult to use. I would use it for maintenance cleaning. The brushes worked well and I wiped away all the excess with a rag.

As a parent of two year-round baseball players, we have used a ton of products on the market over the past 15 years. This product works well and cleans well. The glove pictured is used daily and has been run through the ringers. The only problem we had was the navy blue leather on the stalls bled over onto the tan leather during the cleaning process and even after drying still shows hints of the blue. That is why I gave it four stars. We have only used the product once and will continue to monitor its performance as we run through the remainder of it. It’s a made in the US product and always happy to support those businesses.

There are several different kinds of bundled products available from this company for taking care of leather goods. This combo only has a couple of different CLEANERS, along with some useful soft brushes and cleaning cloths; but, no leather CONDITIONER is included, unfortunately.The cleaning solutions work well, and you can always purchase a separate bottle of leather conditioner, of course.However, already INCLUDING some leather conditioner in THIS particular cleaning bundle would definitely make it a five-star purchase!

My son is on a travel baseball team, and he is a catcher, so his glove needs a good cleaning quite often. This kit has been perfect. The cleaner with the brush and the cloth work very well. It has kept his glove in great shape, and cleaned it up nicely! Great product for the price!

This kit works great and very easy to use. Would make a great gift.

My son played 25 high school games and 50 summer games along with all the practices and his gloves look and feel great due to this. It only works if you use it and he has used it and it has made a difference, with his newer gloves breaking in better and his older ones being very pliable.

My grandson's catcher's mitt has gotten pretty grimy over the past season. This kit did a great job of getting the mitt cleaned up and ready for this season. Comes with several brushes, microfiber cloths, leather scrub, and a cleaning solution. This left the leather soft and supple. I would assume that this kit would be great for other items made from smooth leather. My only suggestion would be to add a leather conditioner and provide a better storage box for the kit. The supplied box was already falling apart when opened.

This is a great product for cleaning a well-used baseball or softball mitt. It comes with a scrub that you use for deep cleaning, and then a cleanser that is useful for intermittent cleanings. The two small brushes are good for getting into nooks and crannies and the microfiber towels are great for wiping it down afterwards.The problem with this is that after you are done cleaning you need to condition the glove, and conditioner is not included! A nice buffing brush is included, but without the conditioner, its sort of pointless. The kit is advertised as "complete", but I'd argue it isn't without the conditoner that that you need to apply after using the soap-based cleaning products...

I got this glove cleaning kit for an old baseball glove that my son was given. He is excited about the glove but it is quite old and has some dirt and the leather is cracking in a few places.First of all, I have to say that I didn't read the listing carefully and I didn't see that this actually contains two types of cleaners, not a cleaner and a conditioner like I originally thought. One cleaner (in the tin) is for deeper cleaning and the other cleaner (in the bottle) is for more routine/maintenance cleaning. I used the deep cleaning one since his glove is so old. The brushes lost a few bristles initially but were good quality and I especially liked the small one for details and cracks/crevices (baseball gloves have a lot of these!).I have never used a glove cleaner before so I have nothing to compare it to, but it seems to have worked well. Note that you will need to buy glove conditioner in addition to this product to give your glove a full maintenance routine.I like that this is made in the USA by a small business.

This is a gift for an avid baseball player who probably needs nothing. However the kit has lots of possibilities to condition his glove and the products look very durable.

Best glove cleaner on the market.

It was easy to use and got the dirt off fairly easy. The product felt good and the brushes were good quality.

Definitely a must if you like your glove clean!!
