3. Dogs may try to lick or wipe those areas. It is perfectly safe for them to lick the balm, but the more balm that stays on their skin, obviously the more healing that can occur. We recommend providing your pet with a toy or treat to distract them while you apply the balm and while it absorbs into their skin.
4. Apply 2-3 times a day for best results. Decrease application as skin heals.
