Soapstone Ultimate Care Kit

It’s so nice these days to find a company that really cares about the product they put out and it’s clear this one does. Their products come nicely gift boxed and they included great quality applicators for applying/scraping, as well as a step by step instructions card. This three step process works very well restoring and protecting our slate countertops and they looked beautiful afterwards, like when they were first put in. The spray cleaner in this set has a strong smell of alcohol which I don’t like but the other items have a nice light citrus scent. This entire care system is great quality even the bottles they come in, which I noticed are made of 30% wheat straw. I would definitely recommend this company to others and look forward to trying more of their products.

This kit comes with a cleaner, an oil, a wax, and the tools required to apply everything. There's even a "cutting board applicator" that's included which was unexpected but appreciated. The kit is easy to use but the initial applications did not yield an immediate improvement in appearance--I suspect it takes a more sustained effort to preserve the surface and this kit is more useful in maintaining the appearance and less useful for restoring or improving the look of a stone surface.

Very nice set of Rhino Wax soaps for concrete and also a cutting board applicator. We gifted this to my daughter for a house warming present. They have used it a couple times and they love how it looks. It smells very nice, citrus.It contains no mineral oil or other petroleum-based products, 100% plant based ingredients. Safe for cooking areas.Made in the USA!

This is a start-to-finish complete care kit for your stone countertops. It has multiple cloths, high-quality cleaners, conditioners, and wax. The cloths and the scraper are high-quality as expected from RhinoWax.The only downside is the cheap applicator sponge with the fancy wooden handle. I feel like the sponge doesn't match the quality of the other things in the kit. It just really stood out to me as a cheap addition. Overall, I love the care kit, though!

The kit comes complete with everything you need to clean and revitalize your concrete or soapstone. The kit is nice. Well-made and nicely presented. The box comes packed with everything you need, including the applicator and 3 microfiber cloths. This company has delivered a great product. Everything, from the way the product is packaged and the products included, is excellent. Buy this product and you will not be disappointed!

Like the title says, it's my first time owning a kit for cleaning stone. Although I have nothing else to compare to, I think this kit has everything needed. I sprayed some of the spray cleaner onto the surface and kept wiping it with the included microfiber cloth. It left the surface cleaned and shiny. I haven't gotten to using the wax and oil yet.

I'd been using mineral oil and old bandanas for the last 5 years and wow this set is seriously a step up! Comes with everything you need to clean oil and maintain soapstone countertops (which, yes, on the one hand are a pain in the butt but they look so beautiful when you do have 15 mins to properly take care of them...)The set comes in a nice box and includes a scraper and microfiber cloths to evenly cover the counters. Everything is thoughtfully well put together, this is a must-have for anyone with soapstone counters.

Great set. Smells good. Ideal for stone cutting boards and probably many types of countertops. Comes with helpful tools. It’s a really nice kit.

If I could rate a product on its packaging alone, this one would get 5+ stars! One look at the kit and and the products within and you know you’ve got something that is first class. We tried the products on our slate fireplace hearth and they gave it the first deep cleaning it’s gotten since we moved into this house 15 years ago. Unfortunately, when we moved in, there were also stains on the hearth of unknown origin, and the cleaner did not get those out, but we didn’t really expect it to. They were too old and could have been some kind of deeply penetrated oil.

I wanted to create darker oiled look for the soapstone countertops. I like the scent and love the look once applied. You need a bit of elbow grease to make sure to get full coverage, but this should be expected. However, after awhile the counters look about the same as before. Perhaps because it was the first application and I need to do it again to build up the sheen.

This soapstone kit from Rhino wax has everything needed stone care in it. It does take some time and elbow grease to use the products but it is well worth it. The package contains a scraper, applicator, three microfiber towels, oil, cleaner and wax plus there is an instruction card. Great kit to take care of your soapstone.

This is meant for soapstone, but this set is the same for wooden cutting boards. The ingredients are identical for both sets. The only difference is this one contains a cleaner as well. The wax applicator sponge is larger than the other set, so that's appreciated, but it doesn't make a huge difference. You can't go wrong with either sets. This stuff worked much better than my Boos mystery oil. My boos ends up drying after a few uses, but this one stays moist much longer.

Let's go, I love to support my home country products and you should too!Nicely designed bottles and jars, won't leak and the instructions are simple/clear to understand.You get a ton of product for the price you pay. Even if you're cleaning all your countertops and large surfaces, a little goes a long way with this stuff!The construction of the waffle-weave microfiber towels are really nice. I hate when the tags are left on and you have to rip/cut them off, but these are perfectly woven along the edges so you can use them immediately without they coming apart on you.Clean ingredients: essential citrus oils, castile soap, alcohol, etc.Cons:The applicator is indicated as a wooden cutting board applicator instead of for soapstone/granite/etc. - not a big deal, just seems like a re-used package for various products they sell.The applicator sponge is glued to the wooden handle of the applicator so over time, eventually the sponge is going to break down and tear and will need to be replaced, possibly sooner than running out of the cleaners/wax products.

This is pitched as being for countertops, but my application was a wood stove. Some stoves have large soapstone plates attached to them that hold heat for a long time, allowing the stove to heat the room after the fire has died down.The kit comes with a bottle of spray cleaner, oil, and wax, with microfiber cloths for each, and a foam applicator for spreading the wax. All were good quality, and with enough material to do my stove several times. Application was straightforward, and the oil and wax both had a pleasant aroma. The product is advertised as being food safe, so hopefully they won't affect food prep if actually used on counters.Applying the oil made a big change in the appearance of the stone, making it much darker, and bringing out some interior detail that wasn't visible in the dry stone. I can't comment on how often this will need to be reapplied, and I expect that a stove, which doesn't get much abrasion, but a lot of heat, will age differently from a countertop.

This kit contains everything that you need for cleaning your stone. It is packaged beautifully. It is very easy to use and has a wonderful smell. It is very effective at bringing your stone back to is original glory. It is made in the USA and will last me a very long time.

Great all-in-one care kit, has everything you need to clean and prep and actually preserve the stone! When applied properly, the wax seal is stain and water resistant, with minimal streaks from buffering it. The end product isn't too shiny, and isn't cloudy. I appreciate how easy it was to increase the longevity and durability of my natural stone countertops with these very effective tools. THERE WERE EVEN ENOUGH MICROFIBER TOWELS FOR EACH PRODUCT! Great value!!!

Nice kit has everything you would need for wooden spoons and spatulas and cutting boards keeps the mold from growing on them in the dishwasher.Would make a great gift if you know they use wooden or bamboo spoons

The perfect solution to taking care of soapstone. I’ve been struggling with keeping our soapstone “fresh” looking using just soapy water and wiping it dry. Used wax every few weeks. This kit has everything you would ever need to clean, renew and freshen it up. Clean scent, nice shine and good quality.
